omg! doesnt it just kill you that laurie married amy instead of jo? it killed the whole movie for me. was that in the book?

Best AnswerThey would never have made it as a couple.. he is never serious, and she has a tendency to get VERY serious.. They were friends, as they should be.. (In the book it's even more obvious that it wouldn't have worked).. I think Beyer (I can't remember how his name is spelled at the moment.. ) is perfect for her..
