In short: DreamHack started out as a small get-together for computer enthusiasts in 1995 and is today the world's largest computer festival. The visitors bring their own computers and all connect to a massive local network and to the Internet. DreamHack is open and operational 24 hours a day, has a strict no-drugs and no-alcohol policy and welcomes visitors of all ages. The event runs for four days and is hosted twice a year.
