Why was Rick Jones not not in the Incredible Hulk movie?
Rick Jones crossed paths with just about all the marvel super heros at one time or another,but was introduced with the first apearance of the Incredible Hulk. Why leave him out of the Marvel movie universe?

Best AnswerThey completely changed the origin of the Hulk and wrote out Rick Jones. He just did not fit the story they wanted to tell.
The good news is that according to Avi Arad the next hulk movie is going to be based on the Comic Book. He did not really like the first Hulk Movie so they are ignoring it and starting over. This time they are going to be more true to the Comic Book version.

A. His main role was in there, that of the guy Burce Banner saves in order to become The Hulk.
Other than that, Rick Jones was pretty much just in the way.

1)Rick Jones will have a bigger part in Hulk 2 or
2)Marvel is saving him for another super-hero's movie. It's like you said, he has crossed paths with just about every hero. My guess is he will be used in the Doctor Strange movie.
P.S. The Hulk movie was horrible when compared to the comics.
A. I THINK BECAUSE HE WAS ALREADY ACTING IN ANOUTHER MOVIE OR SUMTHIN AND COULDN'T DO TWO MOVIES AT THE SAME TIME!
