Based on an ancient Chinese legend, story revolves around an American kung-fu film fanatic who discovers the weapon of the fabled Chinese warrior, the Monkey King at a Chinatown pawnshop. Thanks to the weapon.s mystic powers, the teenage fan is jolted back in time to ancient China where he embarks on an adventurous journey to liberate the imprisoned Monkey King. The fantasy film features Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Liu Yifei, Michael Angarano, and Collin Chou. It hits theatres April 18, 2008.
