Q
Back in the 70's or 80's, there was a horror movie filmed in an old abandoned amusement park. Any ideas?

A. there was one called Fun House....spooky and a nice gore factor
A. This may sound stupid but it was kind of scary. The movie that the group KISS made was filmed at an old amusement park. I can't remember what the movie was called though. You could always do a search on Bestbuy.com if you think that that might be the movie.
A. I know of a really cheesy horror film that involved the group Kiss and it was in an old theme park. I think it was called "Kiss and The Phantom of the Park". It was totally lame.
A. something Wicked this way comes?
A. I'm thinking it was probably "Funhouse", directed by Tobe Hooper ("Texas Chainsaw Massacre"). Some teenage kids had to spend the night at an old and creepy Amusement Park. I remember Sylvia Miles had a small part in it. It came out in the early 1980's.
A. Carnival Of Souls
A. Sounds like "Funhouse"! As for the KISS movie, it was a TV movie aired in 1978 called "KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park." And the consensus is that, yes, it was totally lame. I had a VHS copy of it a while back, which I sold on eBay a few years ago with a ending bid of $45.00!!! I think it's on DVD now, so I probably couldn't do that again.
