DKNY

DKNY is the designer Donna Karan.s secondary label. Karan was trained at Parsons School of Design in New York City and immediately went to work for Anne Klein. She became her successor and co-created the Anne Klein Collection with a fellow Parsons graduate. Ten years later she launched her own collection, Donna Karan, and later created DKNY. DKNY, Donna Karan New York, is a fun, edgy, contemporary, and chic collection. She launched DKNY in 1989, in an attempt to create the hottest, most wearable jeans on the market. Since then, the line has branched out and encompasses perfumes, baby wear, kids and juniors clothes, active wear, and more.
