Based on the Newbery-winning children.s book by Kate DiCamillo, this animated adventure chronicles Despereaux Trilling (voiced by Matthew Broderick), a mouse with abnormally large ears and a penchant for reading who falls in love with a human princess named Princess Pea (voiced by Emma Watson). His un-rodently habits get him banished to the dark dungeon, home to a rat named Roscuro (voiced by Dustin Hoffman) who longs to live in light. The unlikely trio of heroes is rounded out by clumsy servant girl, Miggery Sow (voiced by Tracey Ullman), who has a wish of her own. Sigourney Weaver narrates this film that also features the talents of William H. Macy, Stanley Tucci, Harry Potter.s Robbie Coltrane, Christopher Lloyd, and Kevin Kline. This film is out on Dec. 19.
