Born and raised in the San Francisco bay area, Teri Hatcher was a member of the 1984 San Francisco 49ers cheerleading squad. In the 1980s, she won parts in The Love Boat and McGyver before landing the role of Lois Lane in 1993 for the TV series Lois And Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman. In 1997, she was a Bond girl in Tomorrow Never Dies. She had a guest role on Frasier and did made-for-TV movies before making a comeback on the hit show, Desperate Housewives, in 2004. She won a Golden Globe for lead actress as well as a SAG award for her role in the show.
