Minneapolis-native Theodore Raymond ¿¿¿T.R.¿¿¿ Knight (born March 26, 1973) landed his first role at age 5, when he played Tiny Tim at his hometown`s acclaimed Guthrie Theater. After enrolling then dropping out of Minneapolis University, Knight returned the Guthrie stage before moving to New York to pursue his Broadway ambitions. He quickly made a name for himself in theater circles with his performances in Noises Off, Tartuffe, and Boy. In 2005 he was cast in ABC medical drama Grey`s Anatomy. His role as the endearingly insecure George O`Malley earned him both an Emmy and a Screen Acting Guild Awards winner in 2007.
