The final frontier or a new beginning? This installment in the sci-fi series, directed by J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias, Mission: Impossible III), features an entirely new cast as the classic crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise. A young Captain Kirk (played by Chris Pine) is joined by Karl Urban as McCoy, John Cho as Sulu, Zoe Saldana as Uhura, Anton Yelchin as Chekov, and Simon Pegg as Scotty. Bruce Greenwood (National Treasure: Book Of Secrets), is Captain Kirk's predecessor, commander Christopher Pike. Heroes star Zacharo Quinto will portray Spock, as will the role's originator, Leonard Nimoy. Spock's human mother, Amanda Grayson, is played by Winona Ryder, and Eric Bana appears as the villainous Nero in this adventure, out Dec. 26.
