Why is Spencer Pratt a jerk?
I dont get why every1 hated him.

Best AnswerPeople hate him becasue he's all about stirring up trouble. He says he's committed to Heidi, but it's known that he couldn't decide who he wanted to date first. Personally I think the whole thing between the two of them is for TV, Heidi seems so sweet and caring then there's Spencer, he just strikes me as a selfish jerk. I still remember the show where she thought she was pregnant he flipped out, if he really loved her he'd be happy.

A. People hate him because he took Heidi away from her best friend Lauren, you should never ever do that.
A. Because when they all went out at night, Spencer would always hang around little "playmates" and hoes.
Heidi forgave him, but Lauren didn't trust him one bit. Spencer also took Heidi away from Lauren, which is why she only hangs out with Audrina, Lo, Whitney, and the rest of them now.
