I am writing a paper on Oprah, I need both positive and negative decisions she has made throughout her career.
What negative views to you have?

A. What negative views do you have? Its your paper. Do your own homework.
A. these would only be your opinions--perhaps breaking down and crying on her own show after/during someone else relaying their abuse/molestation as a child and telling about her own as a chiled...perhaps she should have done it later and thought it over-or-was it a good positive decision???

A. I know that her views on religion are controversial, especially since, I think, she grew up in a traditional Black Baptist church, but after becoming rich, now denies Jesus and subscribes to this "New Age" movement.
Also, some don't agree with her decades-long relationship with non-committal, live-in boyfriend Stedman. Some accuse her of being so desperate to have a relationship that she'll accept anything, including a boyfirend who refuses to marry her, who lives off her bank account, and who, according to rumors, may be a closeted gay man.
But...you be the judge.

A. I can't write your paper for you. I suggest you record her show, it's on twice a day, review it and you will find some awesome views on her life.

A. she gets a person like Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz and she runs them into the ground. It seems like every time i watched her. they are or were on there. also her and her friend Gayle. what is up with that. who takes their best friend to work with them

A. She made her mistakes young and recovered to live a life of honesty and decency. She got pregnant young however lost the child to miscarriage. Went on to make the most money any woman has ever earned on her own in the world.
A. negative: she's shacking up with her boyfriend. her boyfriend is reaping all the benefits of sex, cooking, etc, with no commitment in the eyes of god. she is setting a bad example for her viewers for shacking up and sex out of weldock. makes it look ok.
she cutts people off a lot when they talk.
she doesn't always ask the guest the obvious question.
ps: the user above me said she got prego young. yes she did but that was due to rape. so she has no fault in that. her baby had major deformities and lived only a few days i think.
A. We need more people like her. She needs to contribute more to other colors.

A. I just wanted to clarify what someone said, she did not 'get pregnant' at a young age. She was pregnant at a young age through inscest. She had nothing to do with it, it was not her decision. The baby did die.
A. beloved the movie was pretty horrible. i guess doing that was a bad career move.
A. I think Oprah is a positive woman. She has come along way.
