Along with Christina Aguilera, Pink and Lil` Kim, Mya helped bring back Lady Marmalade and create a hit single that was number one on the Billboard 100 for five weeks. Discovered by Dru Hill, Mya`s first album was co-written by Sisqo and featured Movin` On and Its All About Me. In 1999 she was nominated for a Grammy because of her work on Pras` Ghetto Supastar (That is What You Are) from the Bulworth soundtrack. Her second and third albums produced Case of the Ex and My Love is Like . Wo which was produced by Missy Elliot. Mya is just released Ridin from her album Liberation and is currently working on Smoke and Mirrors set to be released sometime in 2008. Mya played Mona in Chicago alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Renee Zellweger and Richard Gere. She also had roles in Shall We Dance and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights.
