A. I don't think she did. I heard nothing about it.

A. No she hasn't. I read about it, but on ET she claimed it was false. Her exact words "If I lost my voice, How could I be standing here infront of you talking? It doesn't make sense now does it."
She even sang a couple courses from her song "Heartbreaker" from a long time ago.
A. I don't think her voice quality is the same as it was in 1990 on Vision of Love or even tracks like Emotions. You don't hear her perform those songs too often anymore. But I think her voice is still there. She just uses the whisper singing more than she used to. If you listen to Charmbracelet, that's almost all she does. But when you listen to songs like "Mine Again" on The Emancipation of Mimi, the girl can still blow. Her voice is definitely still there, it's just changed slightly or her singing techniques have changed.
