The British song bird was on everyone¿¿¿s iPods this summer with good reason. Lily Allen¿¿¿s debut single ¿¿¿Smile¿¿¿ was fun, cocky and sassy, much like the singer herself. The model artist for the MySpace generation, Allen¿¿¿s early success was attributed to the social networking site. Allen, 22, seems to have musical triumph written in her gene¿¿¿s; she is the daughter of British musician Keith Allen and the goddaughter to The Clash¿¿¿s Joe Strummer. Allen is chronicled in the press as outspoken and opinionated, poking fun at Paris Hilton, President Bush and Amy Winehouse. Her unique fashion sense has inspired a new line of clothing from British Department store New Look called ¿¿¿Lily Loves¿¿¿. A London native, she was nominated for Best New Artist by the VMAs and has performed on Saturday Night Live.
