How good did Hilary Swank look in the movie "Boys Don't Cry"?
I used to think she was ugly. I seen her in The Next Karate Kid and thought she was ugly. After I seen her in Boys Don't Cry I thought she was naturally pretty. She had no make up on and she had really nice features esp the high cheekbones. I seen some of her photo shoots and all I can say is that she is underrated when it comes to looks.
Not to mention her acting skills. I'm glad she's not always in you face but I hate it when people always go on about Mangelina Jolie all the time.

Best AnswerHilary Swank is definitely underrated. She reminds me of 'the girl next door'. She is pretty, but not overly pretty. She is more of a true person ... inside and out. I loved her in 'Boys Don't Cry'. That was such a poignant movie. She is truly an excellent actress.
Another like her is Jennifer Garner. She is another wholesome, pretty, 'girl next door' type.
