Born on June 4th, 1985 on a horse ranch in the Israeli countryside, Bar Refaeli first started modeling at eight months old, appearing in baby commercials. Later during her adolescent years, when she had to wear braces, Refaeli put her modeling career on hold for two years. At the age of fifteen, Refaeli returned to her successful modeling career:
She is the first Israeli model to be featured in Sports Illustrated magazine; the same picture was later published on the cover of Maxim. Bar later appeared on the cover of the March 2006 issue of GQ Italy, and the cover of Tatler October 2007. She`s slated to be included in the upcoming Victoria`s Secret catalogs as well. In 2007, Maxim magazine crowned her #45 on their Hot 100 list.
In addition to her modeling, Bar is testing the cinematic waters; she`s slated to star in 2008`s Session directed by Israeli director Haim Bouzaglo. Bar also turned heads for dating former Baywatch actor David Charvet, and later dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio from 2005-2007. She is handled by 1 Model Management in New York, is 5`9, and has the measurements of 35-24-35.
